This is when we learned about a troubling practice that Uni had been doing over the years. See Uni was always the person who went around and collected the door prizes from all the vendors at PPD. Fran told us that Ty (from Frendzco) had told her that the door prizes he and others had given Uni were not the same ones that she handed out.
Fran said that Ty had told her that Uni would keep the really good door prizes and give out some of her merchandise in its place. I contacted Ty and he confirmed what Fran had told me. It seems her practice was well known around the vendors and considered the price for doing business with Uni. I told him that I could assure him that nothing like that would happen from now on. Stealing will not be tolerated. He said it wasn’t a big deal but I said that it was a big deal to me and that it wasn’t going to happen at CAPPD ever again. Ty thanked me and said that Frendzco would vend at CAPPD.
